Europa League: Third Time’s a Charm

I don’t think Champions League sides drop into it anymore.. the last 16 is the 16 who qualify from the league format. Am telling you now, we can win this.. Villa just won it!

Yes the team that finished 4th in the Prem just won it.

Not sure how that translates to it being easy to win, which is your implication.

You are right about the CL teams not dropping into it though. They haven't for years. That devalued the competition so glad they got rid of that nonsense.

Aye, thankfully you won’t be in it next time. We just finished 7th.. hardly a gaping chasm between us.

we can easy win this imo.

We could , provided our Premiership position is not under threat imo....that will still be our priority.
I doubt it that will happen but we could have a season like Forest did last.
Whatever happens the mantra at this club will still be one step at a time then if there is an opportunity at anytime to go-for-it ie we reach the latter stages of any cup competition, then we will.
You can definately sense that there is a real desire by the likes of Xhaka to bring silverwhere to this club so anything currently is possible
Probably the hardest set of teams since the CL teams stopped dropping in. Juventus, AC Milan, Palace and Bournemouth just to start
Nowt to fear from Palace and Bournemouth as results against them ladt season show

He wants this. You can tell!

He's quietly and confidently building a mega CV that allows him to be whoever he wants to be after he stops playing. The longer we can keep him with us the better it will be for us in long term. He's driving a lot of the good things that's going on atm.

Going deep in Europa or dare I say winning it will cement him as a footballing great with us and the world.

Worra guy.
