Europa League Pots

So from what I've seen so far, all 3 English clubs are on the same coefficient points as each other.

What happens if the coefficients fall that 1 needs to be in Pot 2, but the others go into Pot 3?
Palace are top of the 3 due to winning Conference, then Bournemouth for finishing 6th (League place) and then us for 7th (League Cup place).

Looks to be the most complicated set up you could imagine.😳
Why did football get so crazy complicated in everything it does?

I was flummoxed trying to work out the Women's Euros Qualifying rules the other night. This looks even crazier

All this jargon and stats and shit. Coefficients and pots and seedings and qualifying rounds and leagues within leagues and play offs and goal difference/goals for/H2H variants

All just dreamt up for empire building at UEFA and FiFA

Even watching what was a simple game requires a pro licence to decipher whats going on nowadays

Utter Insanity. Once my cognitive abilities start declining faster with age I'll have to pack in following it.

Palace just won a UEFA trophy. Surely that gives em more points than us…….whove not played in Europe for 53yrs?

Each team has their own points from the last 5 years, ours being 0. It's divided by 5 to get the average as is the country co-efficient combining all teams. If a teams co-efficient is less than the country co-efficient then the teams co-efficient becomes the country co-efficient instead.
