When you book a hotel
And the price is sky high
Thats Europa

If european fans are going to travel to Sunderland without tickets would be good if we could help them. Set up a fan zone in keel square or something. I know every team has knobheads but I think most will just want to have a good time.

Although in the middle of jan I cant see it being very nice being in an outside fan zone haha

Touched on this on Monday. Hoping that the council push tourism and promote Sunderland as a city and make it inviting for foreign guests
Hotel offers for 2 night stays for a start
4 extra games which will sell out could be massive for the city in restaurants and bars
Reform? Taking in foreigners? Don’t be silly

i'd love the council to put some sort of interactive map together, showing:

-the stadium
-metro stops
-keel square
-pubs
-restaurants
-the beach area
-the footbridge
-hotels and B&Bs

and put information on like which direction to the airport on the metro and journey times etc.. and journey times to walk from one place to another.

i know google maps can do this, but a specific one would be better

could easily send it to away fans (european and domestic) and show exactly how good the city is for away fans. having done almost all of the 92, sunderland away must be in the top 10 for all things considered above.
