Wouldn't mind a trip to Italy but they don't have any grass pitches!

Get Spain and Greece involved and it could be a few decent places to tour.
 

England take part in Euro T10 tournaments but the players are usually a mix of club and minor counties players.

That will probably be the same if they took part in this.
 
I don’t think they’d go that far. I can’t imagine the other nations would be too keen on that happening either. Those events you mention, if they’re what I am thinking of are club cricket tournaments anyway. I’m sure the winner of the national t20 cup gets invited to play.

I’d assume by the fact ECB are involved in the discussions suggest they’re going to take it fairly seriously. I dare say it’ll be a ‘full England team’ but will be a squad made up of fringe players. Much the same as when we’ve played this standard of side before. Depending on how quickly it progresses it stinks of a side being led by Bethell as an easy way of giving him captaincy experience.

Was looking forward to this as I live close to Clydesdale CC where Scotland play when in Glasgow but it looks as if their home games in this tournament will be in Edinburgh for some reason.
