Essex v Durham County Championship 8-11 Sept

I've heard some rumours that Bedingham is away - to be honest (and I never thought I'd ever say it) from the few games he's played this season he looks as if he can't be arsed.
He must be knackered the number of air miles he's clocked up this year. No idea what his family situation is but if he's got kids it must be a difficult situation to deal with.

Honestly could not care if both Campbell & North the lack of any fight or heart like the players could not give a toss.

I can’t stomach another pathetic interview from Campbell after another thrashing!
Not watched one in weeks. Been repeating the same shite all summer.

Yet he’s rewarded with a new 2 year contract for an utterly dismal season.

You can’t blame the bowling on yet another shocking batting performance

I’m sure he can speak for himself, but I don’t think that was necessarily the point. It’s clear both the batting and the bowling has been found wanting this season - but it’s difficult to comprehend just how bad our bowling has become given it was once the strength of the county on the world stage.

Potts’ own fall from grace has been remarkable and I agree with @GordonMuchallNo1Fan when he said that England must have questions to answer on that matter.

He’s not the only one of course, not many of the bowling department can take any credit from their performances this season and big questions need to be asked of selection - especially in this game with regards to the makeup of the attack.

I’ve no idea who will be available for next week, but we MUST have four seamers in the team and they have to somehow get them fired up for the battle we’ve got on our hands.

A lead of 40 should at least take 6 overs to get with some wayward bowling and strategic field placings.....maybe more than 6 ??...so maybe not many overs left to scrape through now they been deducted

I get that but it is a team game so the batters should be stepping up when the bowlers underperform and vice versa…

Would be a shame, because there was genuinely a time where I thought he could go down as our greatest overseas batsman - but clearly given his involvement with SA it appears as though it’ll be for the best if we look elsewhere.

I like Marcus Harris at Lancashire if we’re looking, I do feel like we need a pair of overseas that will be available for most of the season if we can. The instability we’ve seen this year from the various overseas men can’t have helped the overall synergy of the team.

Not in the current era of T20 mate. 40 runs will be knocked off inside 4 overs.

Umps don't look happy with it. Main covers haven't even been rolled away.

Hoping this might be it.

Haway lads shake hands

Interesting watching the stream with no sound, relying on hand signals

Does appear that there are a number of damp areas that they’re not happy with.

What time ‘officially’ was tea taken? Trying to work out how many overs have been lost so far.

Watching the stream christ Blackwell is half the man he used to be.

Yeah having a persuasive chat with Silverwood.
