Aye I mean it's not like there's any grey areas, it's either fine or too bigBloody hell how long they taken on that?
Our punishment was after 3 weeks. I think everyone thought they'd got away with it.
Agree. I remember one coach of a team caught saying it was completely their fault as they have bat gauges in the changing room to measure so they only have themselves to blame if someone goes out with an oversized bat.Aye I mean it's not like there's any grey areas, it's either fine or too big![]()
10 point penalty. I dont know why it was less.I'd forgotten about this. Did we get the same punishment?
Probably thought Durham had suffered enough with Maddinson.10 point penalty. I dont know why it was less.
Isn't that still under investigation? And yet Gloucestershire get no sanctions for the pitch they prepared which ended up in their championship match Being Abandoned. Surely poor quality pitches are a bigger issue in domestic cricket.
They prefer the term plus sized bats now.Essex spokesman come out to say the oversized bat was just banter?
They've got away with it. Confirmed todayIsn't that still under investigation?
No way will they go unpunished. Points are docked for a poor pitch so some penalty has to occur for a dangerous one.
Grey Nicholls are hardly going to say their bat was phony. It’s utter bollocks mind
Grey Nicholls provided the bat said it was fine
They've got away with it. Confirmed today

Baffles me that a bat being too big gets a points deduction, but a pitch being completely unsafe and resulting in two injuries gets absolutely nothing. Mind-bogglingTrue
But it’s just a mistake aint it, sounded like the instruments used were not proper ones to measure it
I think it’s a harsh penalty like ours was
