Listened to talk sport on the way home and a journo who specialises on the bundesliga was saying that in Germany it isn't classed as a hat trick because all 3 goals must be in the same half AND no other goals must be scored between them....how nuts is that

German league is poor these days in fairness - look at how good Haller was at Frankfurt compared to his time so far at West Ham.

Haller isn’t being used properly at West Ham, he always had a partner at a Frankfurt and they worked well together, he’s being used as a lone striker at West Ham which doesn’t suit him at all.

Question for anyone who has watched him with any sort of regularity. What’s his all round game like?

I’ve seen plenty of highlights of him scoring goals but never watched him in a match. Looks to get in behind and looks like a very composed finisher. Is there more to him than that? If there is then we could be looking at one of the elite attacking players over the next 10-15 years.

I saw him playing for bryne a few times before he went to molde, was playing left wing back then. Covers the ground quickly and can tackle too.
