Their model is to mix very experienced players with kids and to keep both as long as possible. Which bucks the trend in France where moving players on for profit is the plan at most clubs. Marseilles frinstance want signings in and out for a profit in 2yrs. Don’t ask me why I’m just repeating what I’ve read n heard a few times.

Just had a look at the table and seen that Nice, managed by Farioli who we were heavily linked with towards the end of last season, are 4th in the table. The most interesting bit I saw was that they have the best defensive record in the league but have scored less than a goal a game this season, with only the bottom 2 having scored fewer goals.
Champions league football or a bunch of kids in the championship, and no striker.
