He is really talented and really creative. Those type of players sometimes have quiet games or get nullified by an opponent so he won’t be the best player in all 38 games - but he is brilliant and will be the one who changes games and has the best moments in games. Definitely think he’s best in the middle.

Let's talk about the facts. He was class, got injured (on purpose imo) against Hull, then looked ok whilst working his way back up to fitness. Which if I remember correctly Le Bris said they were still building him up from that injury early this season.

Le Fee is performing on Xhaka’s level and has been all season - all you need is a pair of eyes. This weird fixation some seem to have in deifying Xhaka like nobody in the squad can reach his level.

Hume does a great job defensively and watching Diarra this season I doubt he could do the same, plus until we get a real right sided winger RLB will play Hume in front of him IMO...

He was quite the let down in the championship. He’s improved so much since that’s he’s now definitely in the conversation for our best player behind Xhaka

He isn’t like. Take yesterday for example - Xhaka completely and absolutely controlled the whole game and dictated every single thing going on. He didn’t just play his own game, he was also controlling every other player on the pitch like some kid playing fifa. He gets the ball and he’s talking to the others, moving everyone else around whilst wrestling with 2 opponents for possession man. The rest of our team are still a good distance from Xhaka - and that’s not a slight at all on the rest of them but Xhaka is genuinely world class level
