Enzo Le Fee

In a what? Why did football become so full of soundbite bollocks like this? Stop trying to sound clever man.

A player of Le Fee's pedigree should be taking Championship games by the stuff of the neck whatever position he is asked to play in, like he did on the wing at Boro, but since the teacher's pet came back from injury he's looked like dog shit.
it’s not clever at all. It’s as simple as can be, and not a sound bite new term. Just a way to say there’s more ground to cover which is a good sign for what they are willing to let him do for a work load in the midfield.

He played well in France which is arguably Championship quality other than a handful of teams, then couldn’t make it in Italy which is a step up.

Can someone explain where statements like the one below come from, and what supposed pedigree he has?

If his name was Sean Longstaff and he looked like Jonjo Shelvey people wouldn’t faint every time he pulls off what would be a decent pass in a top division, even though his attributes are very similar to the latter player but hasn’t actually played well in a top league like shelvey has.

What a fuckin unbelievable conclusion to come up with.

He didn’t look unfit like.

The stuff he tried didn’t come off but I’d say he was the one player on the pitch for us who was trying to create and be different to what the manager keeps repeating ‘’ the connection” or what n real terms means safety first and keep
A shape, safe passing sideways and backwards to bore everyone to death and stay out of the opposition box incase they break 100 yards and score.

He is but he’s been horrific basically since he signed his deal.

Even when he came on today he looked like he couldn’t be arsed.

What are his strengths ??

He can’t hold the ball up.
He can’t win the ball in the air
He can’t drop deep.
He misses glorious chances.
He tries the spectacular option instead of taking an extra touch to make a half chance a better chance.
He goes down at the slightest touch
He doesn’t close down defenders with real intent.

I’m struggling to see how he has a case to play in front of Mayenda at the minute.

Definitely wasnt sharp. He would have buried that chance he had fully fit.

Agree
I think his confidence is low
He plays best off the shoulder using his speed & strength , we don’t play him in enough or at all

I’ve noticed he keeps getting pulled while out driving in Newcastle, so wonder where his head is at like. He’s obviously has something about him as Roma payed a fair chunk for him. However bar the odd tiny spell (boro) I’m struggling to pick out what he’s shown for us. I think a few like our form are just hoping it’s all been him getting fit and he’s gonna win us the playoffs. I posted a fair few weeks back that he hadn’t shown a lot for us and if he hadn’t came from Roma and with a big fee many wouldn’t be going on about how mint he is.

We paid a fair chunk for Rodwell, who in retrospect turned out slightly below average.

I’ve seen it aswell. Was getting a bit lippy with the flatties when I seen him on the gateshead side of the Tyne bridge.

Mainly the fact that people calling saying how he’s clearly the most talented, a cut above the rest and has pedigree, despite the fact he hasn’t actually showed it.

He played well at Lorient then moved to Rennes who then let him go to Roma for almost the same fee that they paid for him.
€23 Million isn’t exactly a ‘big money’ move too, he’s not even in the top 15 of Roma’s most expensive transfers.

He then couldn’t do it in Italy, and then couldn’t get a deal for a top division side. None of this supports the idea that he’ll suddenly become the best player in the side once he clicks.

He was poor yesterday but his cross was probably the only bit of quality I can think of from the whole game, then Roberts completely fluffed his run and it was wasted.
