Enzo Le Fee

This season has shown the manager wants in form confident players in his XI and once he has those, he will work a forMation around them.

Thats how we ended up with a back 5 yesterday. Enzo’s versatility means he can slot in anywhere in that midfield

Yeah he definitely does this. It makes it harder for players on the periphery to get back in as well sometimes. He'll happily shoehorn the likes of Hume into the side in various roles, and Geertruida for example, because they're fit and trusted and have demonstrated valuable contributions.

He definitely prefers to pick players who are already 'well connected with the group'.

Le Bris likes his wingers to play narrow anyway so it wouldn't be that different from his usual playstyle. The only question would be whether he could do the defensive work.
"Defensive work" That's one thing you really can't fault if anything he spends too much time in defence. I want him to use his attacking skills more. Enzo and BB seem to be striking up a good partnership and long may it continue. Let the likes of Hume do the defensive work and let the Elf loose with his magical skills up front, clinical finisher as well.

A lot of people are expecting Le Bris to change the midfield as soon as Diarra is available. That won't happen, Le Fee is in the box seat, undroppable. Diarra will have to bide his time. From memory of early season, Diarra likes to get stuck in and is more of a box to box right sided midfielder who could be utilised as a winger.

Having all your best players on the pitch doesn’t necessarily make it your best team

Bar the game against Boro where he played against a over the hill Luke Ayling whose terribe hes been underwhelming for me. No doubt a decent player but the way some went on you would think we were signing a prime Hazard at the time.

Hes been pretty average a can see why a mid table Italian team binned him off and bar us was no other takers
crazy how times change so quickly. Simple our best player this season. Your criticism was far too early to say.
