Not going to take long for fatigue to kick in if our midfield are running a marathon every week without rotating them though

It’s pretty much one game a week for a fair bit though isn’t it.

You might be right but it’s nowhere near as physical as the championship in terms of 2 games a week etc

A big squad is important but it can be surprising how little the team csn change if you get lucky with injuries

12 to 13km is hardly a marathon. The PL only has 38 games. They are demanding and fast paced games as well. But if our main players are allowed to sit out of all the cup games then fatigue shouldn't be an issue at all. Other clubs who are in Europe and want to also try to win cups will have the issues with fatigue & rotation.
Exactly. Only 3 league games per month in Aug, Sep, Oct, Feb, Mar.

Players more likely to suffer from boredom than fatigue.

He made 9 passes and completed 8 of them so you are talking shite again.
Admittedly I was hammered and didn't have my contacts in, but I recall 3 times he lost or failed to win the ball. One pass and 2 dispossessions or failure to win possession of a loose ball that he should have.

I'm watching it again in full tonight and I'll let you know the times or will conveniently disappear if I misremembered the match.

I never talk shit*e btw, you are projecting.

Games are of a much higher intensity though.

We’ll need to rotate I can’t see us being able to keep that intensity up week on week

Be interesting to see what sort of distances we were running last season tbf.
