Enzo Le Fée

He was good as were all the team
Every week we need 7/10 upwards from players in this league
Saturday every single one was at least that.Ballard I would actually give 10/10
Go again this Saturday ( huge game )
A huge game indeed ..sats win counts for nothing if we dont get at least a point

Mind, I thought Wan-Bissaka had the beating of him offensively. Done him a few times and got his crosses in.

I felt the same. Very quickly we had less pace/intensity and mobility there and it allowed West Ham much more space. They attacked down that side more as soon as Enzo came on.

I love Enzo and at sometime were going to have to utilise the quality on the ball and in the final third he has, but I totally understand why he isn't going to start whilst we find our feet - I'm still not sure he's got the physique to excel at this level.
He should play against Burnley imo. Try and control the ball.

We shouldn't change against Burnley apart from Alderete. Our midfield allowed us to swamp West Ham and overrun them 2nd half. Le Fee should be used as opposition legs tire at the moment.

I don't think any of the 3 that played in the middle on Sat are any worse than Le Fee at keeping the ball.
I think with Enzo it's the speed of thought and natural ability to pick a pass, long range or short that edges it over the midfield 3. However the pace and relentless running of Sadiki, Diarra and nous of Xhaka is why they are starters and at this moment it's hard to disagree.

Yeah. That graphic in the other thread says it all with regards to distances covered by the midfield 3 on Saturday. I'm not saying Le Fee isn't industrious - he is - but we obviously want the legs in there.

Wan-Bissaka was among the top five in the Premier for successful dribbles last year. If his deliveries wera little better, he would be an outstanding player. Defensively very few get past him.

Will be one of the primary sub options but we will get i injuries and Diarra and Sadiki out for Afcon. Also able to fill in out wide if need be. Plenty opportunities

We are in the premier league and there is no way we will have he same 11 week in week out so there will be players rotated in certain games for sure. This is normal.

I'd agree that he is the midfielder who has the vision to play that defence splitting pass. But it seems like Le Bris wants to make our midfield solid, with the high work rate you speak of. Making it as hard as possible for other teams to play around us and through the midfield. As others have said as well, Le Fee is a brilliant option to have from the bench to come on against tired legs.
