Enzo Le Fée

It said not part of the first XI.

If the Betis game is anything to go by, and Le Bris has said he's using these games to get his preferred to to gel, then he won't be in the starting XI.

Doesn't follow that he therefore wants to leave or won't be part of the first team squad, but if he's going to start it means either playing him out of position or dropping one of Diarra or Sadiki instead.

The team at the weekend will tell us for sure what the first choice starting XI is going into the season.
He's obviously gonna start man

We won’t have signed more than 3 of the new midfielders unless they were comfortable with squad depth and rotation. RLB couldn’t have guaranteed a starting place for everyone.

The team was set-up around him.

But now we have signed one of the best game-runners in the world.

I love him, he’d start every game for me. But he’s not ahead of Xhaka, so he will have to fight the other two for competition. Expecting Rigg to be impressive as well.

Our midfield is mint like.

not that I'd believe he's took the huff mind but i really have no idea who going to be the one to drop out. Sadiki seemed to be the obvious choice but I'd say he's looked the best of the bunch pre season and would find himself really unlucky not to start against West Ham. Xhaka is a cert as he'll be captain. Le Fee is literally Regis's right hand man so i don't see him missing out. and then are we going to 'drop' our record signing? i wouldn't want to be betting on it

i think what'll happen but maybe not straight away is Talbi will drop out the starting eleven and Diarra will move onto that right side of midfield. and that'll be how he gets all 4 of them in

Why did Harrison Jones start at Left Back instead of Huggins? If Harrison Jones is our starting LB against West Ham we are in trouble!
We *are* in trouble. Our defence is not up to scratch.

Jones has edged above Huggins in preseason. If you were at the Hearts game, you'd understand why. Jones has started both games since then. Certainly one of Jones, Huggins or Seelt will be starting. Seelt was injured at the weekend so we might still see him start with Reinildo at left back - we'll find out the team for the West Ham game on Saturday.

But in any event it's not "obvious" Le Fee will start unless you can say which one of Diarra, Sadiki or Xhaka "obviously" won't.

It’s Sunderland banter and fan page or summit. Absolute bollocks. Just posted were after Deli Ali ! Some of our fans are thick as whales spunk like believing every little bit of shite online.

I'm sure we will get injuries this season in the centre of midfield, suspensions, players losing form not to mention AFCON, all of them will get regular game time.

They haven't posted we're after Deli Ali at all.

They've posted an article from "footballinsider247" which has Matthew le Tissier(!!) talking about Dele Ali and saying he thinks he'd be a good fit for us.

It not the Sunderland site's claim and nor does the article they've linked even claim we are interested in him!
Pre season is about managing minutes and considering why he fell out favour at Roma was a knock in pre season
Ok preseason is about "managing" minutes but we have all of our other first team players bar Reinildo (first game) 90 minutes against Betis.

Seems the idea was to manage the first XI minutes up to 90.
