As we all seem to have our own opinion on who shouldnt be the various England captains who would your three captains be....

20/20 - Collingwood

50 Overs - Morgan

Test - Strauss

I'd give Morgan the T20 captaincy too. I don't see the point in having a separate T20 captain for 4/5 games a year if the 50 overs captain is in the T20 squad.

20/20 - Collingwood / Cook

50 Overs - Collingwood / Cook

Test - Strauss / Cook

A knar nowt though.

Broad should have all them, he should also open the bowling and batting. In fact, when he's finished his over, he switches to the other end, so he bowls every over. And then, when he fields if the ball comes to him, but bounces first, he's allowed to use the one hand-one bounce rule. Also, when he bats and is caught behind or bowled, it has to be given as a no-ball. Just cos his dad was canny alright nd that like

the new hate figure is Broad, wonder who will be next in line

never said he was god just the best cricketer we have produced since Botham and only time will prove this to be the case
Indeed. He is obviously a class cricketer but the best since Botham? I'm skeptical; but like you say only time will tell.

Freddie was not a particularly good test cricketer, had the attributes to be the best for 20 years but turned out to be decent, nothing more, nothing less

cant see Broad ever doing this

anyone can pick out moments look at his stats average at best

If Broad had done anything brilliant of note then I could maybe begin to reason with yous, but he's done fuck all other than the odd wicket here and there! Freddie single-handedly won the 2005 ashes for us, his Man Of The Series award proved that, then yes, things went wrong in Australia 2006, then he came back in the 2009 series and won the Lords test for us, with that amazing 5-fer, and the Ponting run out. Apart from his obvious talent, he was also a massive character in the game, who was loved by every one, umpires, team mates and opposition alike. He wasn't as good as Beefy, might have been without injuries, who knows? Freddie was a cheery character on the pitch, what does Broad do on the pitch? Kicks pitches when its not going his way, and shouts abuse at the umpire. If he's 'the best cricketer we've produced since Botham', we have reason to worry.

Freddie changed games (mostly in the positive), what other English cricketer has done that in the past 20 years!
