Strauss as opening batsman in 1 day crickets a waste of time imo. He's a test match player who rarely scores quik runs.

Good total from the netherlands. We shite at 1 day cricket like

The two south africans need to do the business for us.

You've not seen any of England in one dayers in the majority of the last 2 years?

He has a better strike rate than Trott and Bell, he isn't ideal but the main problem is having too many players of similar styles and scoring rates in the top 6.

I watched us against the aussies. 20/20 we have done great but the one day matches, 50 overs we havent been. For me we seem to struggle to decide on our best team and never have a settled batting order.

Which is why we're going to miss Morgan so much.

I think it was something like 6/7 consecutive series wins before the Aussies. Two of those against Australia and one against South Africa

We are still ranked 5th in the world in one day compared to 3rd in test cricket though.

I think we will miss Eoin Morgon in the middle order. Not a massive fan of Bopara and Colly is on his way out.

winning world cup team, always have a dodgy game somewhere.

i still think england will win this match, if they bat as they can

christ almighty. just seen some of the drops, miss fields and not having enough men in the circle ffs

that is basic stuff and for england to do the above is diabolical

willis is in classic misery mood and can you blame him?

still think we will win like :-D

ball is swinging slightly

mainly to the boundary by strauss

12 for 0 off 1

strauss 12 n.o

hawaaay

eds bet is now on :lol::lol:

beautiful cover drive by kp for 4

16 for 0 off 1.1

ed is definitely on for £20 here

some high quality batting here mind :-D:-D:-D:-D

28 for o 0ff 3.3

pietersen 15
strauss 13

43rd over for ed or longer for the breen machine?

going to be a tight one, if these two get away

;):neutral::neutral:

i think ed could be on his way to £20 here

cracking square cut by pietersen

32 for 0 off 4

this bet is the big thing now

england will win but by the 43rd over ?

if pietersen is in for 25 overs, it should be a doddle

34 for 0 off 5

pietersen 20
strauss 14

If KP goes I think we will get there in about 45/46 overs, if he doesen't it could well be over in 40. Strauss and KP tend to get bogged down by slower bowlers in ODI's so don't think this scoring rate will continue for too long.
