Enough will be said about the bowling and it was the main reason we lost - utter shite by the 3 quicks. However we should have scored miles more than 328 on that pitch against that attack and I thought Bell and Trott were complacent in their scoring. Other top sides would have been touching 400 on that pitch.

He has to be dropped for the next game. Bring in Bopara and him and Collingwood can bowl Yardy's allocation of overs.

I think we have to bat second. We need a total to attack - without it I think we fanny about and are complacent.

But we bowled and fielded like shit. And Strauss' role appears to be simply telling the bowlers who is on next.

Thats not the point. 328 isnt the reason we lost and should have been plenty to win but it was complacent - it was a dream of a pitch against the weakest attack England will play and we pottered about at 5 an over during the middle overs. All of the other top sides would have scored plenty more.

I agree but I don't think Trott and Bell are capable of scoring any quicker, Collingwood still looks out of form and Prior is a poor ODI batsman. England are going to be so reliant on Pietersen to score at a strike rate of over 100 every game just to make sure we make full of these good batting wickets.
