England vs India ODI Series


England just didn’t turn up, yes indiabowled well but when we bowled we were very poor, even if we’d knocked a few of theirs over and made a game of it, it would have been something to work with.

Our batting failed entirely. It happens. Hopefully this is just a blip.

I’m afraid Topley and Overton wouldn’t be in my ODI team. I’m not a fan of going back to Moeen Ali neither.

Roy definitely not at the races for a while. But him and Bairstow average 59 opening the highest average ever. With 13 tons.

Only Root and Morgan have more runs as a partnership for England. Not time to ditch that just yet for me.

Mind Salt is banging on that door and just like we thought Hales and Roy partnership was irreplaceable. That went by the wayside.

I’d like to see someone else in, but he deserves the chance to get himself out of this bad spell over the next two games.
If he can’t, then I’d say we need to be giving someone else a chance.

Morgan just made a point about Sharmas interview for bowling first, as he thinks there is moisture on the pitch.

Morgan thinks with the weather being hot, the pitch should be bone dry, so he’s a bit surprised with how sharma has read the pitch

after the other day, I hope we can just keep wickets intact for the first ten overs, even if we are 30 odd after ten, we have the firepower to lift the rate.

Massive day in the Tour de France, so I won't be sticking around long if we gan to shit early doors again.

Bumrah is some bowler like.
 
Roy has a huge gap between bat and pad here. Already inside edged one . I feel for Roy here. If he can survive this Bumrah spell , he has a chance to get a much needed score

Im struggling enough to keep up with 2 at the minute. :lol:

I used to work in William Hills call centre when I was at uni, it was class. Job was a piece of piss, could do it with your eyes closed and basically got paid to sit and watch sports.

If I had my time again, that’s exactly what I would look for

not really bothered by the rate early, we can pick it up. Wickets early are the key and so far roy is riding his luck.

Bairstow has only faced four balls out of 18 so far
