what he has had practice games on sub continet pitches which as you would say is a silly comparison to make because they are so different to aussie pitches, or is it one rule for you and one for me ;)

Tredwell and Wright will have had at most, one practise game on the sub-continent and I'm not sure if they even had that so in that case they are on level footing in terms of practise with Tremlett, even if they had the one then it isn't really much difference is it? ;)

one bashes the ball out the park, the other is a spinner, all much easier to do than be a tall hit the deck bowler in the sub continent...its not ricket science ;)

All need preparation, at least Tremlett had all them games in Australia while the others were on the sidelines.

Not criticising Tremlett btw, even though I did feel he got his lengths wrong yesterday, but after all your Jimmy bashing so far I just thought I'd point out the so-called world class Tremlett took a hammering over there too ;)

Was wright not with the Lions in WI...could be wrong

Tremlett will bowl back of a length in Australia, he bowls that in Asia, its a long hop, its the worse type of practice

I'm not sure if he was, he's been in the ODI and World Cup squads from day one so with that in mind I think he's been with the main squad throughout.

You are right but Bresnan was bowling back of a length in Australia and has adapted maturely in the sub-continent, Broad aswell before his injury. I accept Tremlett may not have had as much preparation as he ideally liked, but his lengths and lack of variation were poor yesterday.

But Bresnan has played every game....
