It’s ironic that in the middle of a drought, there is a possibility of no play tomorrow

the test series missing out on the best weather of the summer

five weeks gone since we played. It’s like going on a tour playing at home. That cannot be right
It's almost like not scheduling tests in the height of summer is a really bad idea!

I've got a ticket for Saturday but having trouble working out the logistics given the rail strikes and the ludicrous hotel prices in London this summer.

Need to decide whether it is going to worth the cost/hassle of going or try to sell the ticket.

The forecast for tomorrow in London isn't inspiring much confidence, a stop start day at best by the looks of things:

It all depends if it’s a deluge and iirc lords has excellent draining , so delays can be kept short.

the toss will be interesting to see who bats first, as they maybe on and off all day

if stokes wins, I would have expected him to bowl anyway. If the saffers win that’s the mystery of how they see it

If driving is an option, and depending on any strikes for local transport in London, I'm driving to Denham station and getting the train to Marylebone from there, £7 to park for the day and 20 minutes on the train. Could be worth considering, but appreciate that's a long drive to be there in time.

I'm looking at the driving options but the big downside is the lack of beer during the day :(
