England v India - Third Test, 10/07

If they get Root out we are stuffed.

Stokes needs a good innings as well.

Too many batters are throwing their wickets away. Except Crawley just not good enough.

You could see when he hit the fours and that exquisite drive through leg, he was getting over excited

That’s the problem , he can’t settle himself down after the big shots

He has to be taken to one side and told he is wasting a great talent

The opposition teams play on it

The problem as well is they know , the axe will never fall

Thanks mate. At least you'll all be spared my rantings as India wrap up the series in the 4th test!

And Kumar is right. It's just pure arrogance, this whole team and set up is dripping with it. And that comes from the top. Extremely arrogant and dislikable team, and I take no joy in saying that.
If they do, it'll be thoroughly deserved mate, it's not India's fault England seem to play kamikaze cricket. I dont care either way. Cricket is not football in my eyes and I get it that Siraj etc can go on like idiots but i'm not dropping to that level and just enjoying good cricket.

What is so wrong with a draw?! I get trying to turn a draw into a win but half the time against the top sides we turn nailed on draws into defeats. If you can't win, don't F'ing lose!
They don't have the batsmen to play out for it. Stokes said he wouldn't want a Cook style batsmen in this side for example.

I make that 0 of 4 wickets being through really quality deliveries. Three ghastly shots and Popey being utterly inept.

That’s the problem with the gung ho approach. The bowlers always feel like there’s a choice of a bollocks-up. Whereas Root just calmly nullifies the threat to reduce their motivation.

Entertainment. It’s in the minds of the management team that England supporters would rather see the team lose in four days than draw over five.
No one was ever asked if that was the case mind.

I’ve no issue with positive, aggressive cricket. But some of this is not that, it’s reckless and lazy cricket. Watching Crawley waft his bat at everything outside off without any foot movement before inevitably losing his wicket isn’t massively entertaining.

India fully, 100% deserve to win this series. They've played the better cricket, worked out how to use Bazball against England, played on our egos, and played each situation on merit - as it should be. Not the most likable side, but a good side to watch. If I was an Indian, id be over the moon with my Test side
