England v India - Third Test, 10/07

His reaction after another 12th man, Gary Pratt, ran him out in 2005 was also priceless. Shouting abuse at Duncan Fletcher as he stormed off! 😂
Fletcher laughing on the balcony topped it off
So what do we think then - England will want 90 overs to bowl at India, 10 overs of a 2nd new ball.

Ideally I think theyd want 100 overs and a 400 target, but the pitch and quality of bowling doesn't look like it will allow them to score at 5 and dont know if Bashir will bowl, so it's 4 seamers and Root, plus Archer will be bowling in a 2nd innings for the first time in 4 years.

Thinking 360 will be the target set, but with over rates, that would be all day and at 4 an over.

Just hoping we bat for at least 75 overs to set a decent target

I'd normally think a draw from here but England don't play for draws at all. I think they might come out to score at 5-6 an over, lose some wickets, and have a big decision to make.

I've just put £5 on India.

I think we're in for a very entertaining days play today.

I can see the boys being fired up.

These Indians have no self awareness do they? They way they went on last night was a disgrace. Lucky that Gill didn't get nutted. Showing his true colours there like. Good, I like hating on them.

P.s If someone from the opposition fans took my cap off and started slapping me with it, they wouldn't just get a smile back. I don't know how that lad in the crowd didn't chin him. TV camera or not.

Very tough position for England to be in as the team batting 3rd, especially with our attack. If there's to be a result it'll most likely come from England being out relatively cheaply.

Remember an Ashes test in Australia. We were batting 3rd, on day 5 with a draw or England to try and force a result looking most likely. Skittled by Warne and then Hussey knocked off the runs. Was a great day to stay up for ffs

Tbf though mate you are extremely negative. Try and have a bit hope man we’re gonna knock these chewy twats about all day *once Crawley goes* :)
I can’t help it. I’m certainly glass half empty with sport. All those years following Sunderland I suppose.
Very interesting. Plenty conflict of interest there

Dukes balls have been a bit hit and miss in this series mind. Can't delay that.
They’ve been shocking since Covid.
“And so it came to pass, an hour into the third day’s play, the first sight of Umpire Paul Reiffel fiddling with his ring-piece”

:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:
