Not a criticism but Bess could bowl the odd jaffa to get a wicket, we need either a match winning spinner or a very consistent spinner (Leach/Dawson) who can bowl us to victory on helpful pitches

I agree fully. We’ve discussed this for as long as Bashir has been around

I just think that delivery is why they persevere with him , in their logic

It’s a bit like Crawley and his one innings a series
