England v India - Third Test, 10/07

said in the last test, with the Mick McManus hair dye and the cream blazer that he looks like he should be behind a cocktail bar somewhere in Singapore or Hong Kong  looks dapper mind.
He’s had a red jacket and red specs combo on and then when in a box , which is his own , wearing a grey jacket , black specs with a wine coloured hankie in the top pocket

He’s competing with Dinesh in the style stakes

There was a laugh earlier when they put up a pic of Athers in tiny white shorts and DK said it was gold and he’d been looking for dirt in his pocket for Athers

Previously been a defender of test match over rates when they have only been a couple short of the 90 overs advertised as can sympathise with various delays but the past couple of days are beyond a joke and watching the umpires are doing nothing to help the situation or even try to persuade players to hurry along. They are walking as slowly as players between overs and allowing every drinks break - Gill took one about 3 overs ago having been in for a few balls and now there is the formal drinks break (which are taking far longer than the allotted time of I think 4 minutes).

ICC should be making an example of this test with punishments but ultimately they need to allow a match referee greater flexibility on changing hours of play. It’s 30° in London - play from 10:30 - 19:00 and then at least the slower pace of play is tolerable as should be getting overs in.

Yesterday had 83 overs

England batted for 19.3 overs today

Now 29 overs for India

So it’s at 49 overs today and we are at 530pm

There is no excuse and they will walk off in sunlight and perfect batting conditions

There’s surely not only been 50 overs? That’s outrageous

That chain is mental. Got to be worth a couple of mph.
Archer, known for his stylish accessories, often sports thick gold chains and luxury watches. This time, his chain became a hot topic among fans, who were curious about its price. Reports suggest that the chain is worth a staggering £125,000, approximately Rs 1.5 crore in Indian currency.

Meh, I might get two.
