England v India - Third Test, 10/07

Tough shit, Shubby. Careful what you wish for. It's worked the other way up to now, don't cry now it's not a better ball.

The obsession with the ball finally comes back to bite them.

Dukes need to sort this out like. Ongoing problem for go long. Im still against the ball being changed fullstop unless it is torn or causing danger to the batsmen from severe deviation in bounce

Forget warnings Gill should be banned for the way he's gone on and that goes for any captain doing the same
Hello Ed. Long time no see. How’s your season going , if you still play

Does the kookaburra get changed as often ? Though thats s crap ball as well

What is wrong with Woakes for you ?

And are you writing off Potts going

Is there no place for an 80 mph seamer that is accurate to hold an end ?
I just think age and injury are catching up with Woakes. He's never really been effective outside of England, but now his skills are waning. For this series in particular, he came in undercooked after another injury and no cricket. I'm not sure Test Cricket is the place to play your way back into form and fitness. I think he can hold an end in England, but not in Australia. Unfortunately he's not even doing that in this series - 3 wickets at 82, Economy rate 3.5 (0.5 higher than his career average) and strike rate 164.

Age catches up with you. No shame in that.

Hopefully he proves me wrong later today, but he looks like he is done.

Also, not convinced Potts has the skillset for Test match cricket. Haven't looked at the stats, but I'd imagine he's had success against the lesser nations but not against Aus or Ind.

Totally agree

Wonder why Reddy has not been seen yet ?
Iirc you have to either wait the length of time you were off for or until 6(?) wickets have fallen?
I think you are right

Strange though as yesterday the Indians said he had cracked a nail

It may be a bit worse than that
Yeah Stokes needs to take one for the team on that front.

I thought him and Foakes should have swapped in India too.
I think smiths technique is a top five batsman

I also think it’s superior to both Crawley and pope

Why not leave the box out there to save time

It’s beyond a joke the time it’s taking out of the game for this

I’m not 100% on this but I think I remember a time in the 70s or 80s when the ball lost shape , so an umpire got a bat and knocked it back into shape

This farce is taking at least ten overs out of the game today

LEAVE THE BOX OUT THERE AND GIVE THE PUBLIC THE OVERS THEY HAVE PAID FOR
