If Swann's fit, does he come in for Tredwell? No for me.

Finn or Bresnan? Depends on the pitch but I'd think they will go with Bresnan.

I would like England to put India in and try so we know what we're chasing.
 

Reverse Swing Bresnan which is a shame as think Finn would cause more problems and was all over them in India series.

Wouldn't play 2 spinners given how well India play spin. Tredwell for me as Swann hasn't looked as threatening in 1 dayers lately.


End of the day, England are massive underdogs.
 
I would leave Swann out, but reckon he will be back in.

Id go for Finn but suspect Bresnan weill get the nod.

I think England will be bowling first cos we will want to bowl first and India will want to bat.

India will blammer us I reckon, sadly.

Predicted it before ODI series with NZ.
 
Looking at the weather forecast for Birmingham on Sunday, it looks like it could be a shared trophy. Absolutely mental that there's not a reserve day for an major final in England, especially since there's no rain forecast on Monday.

Would be disappointing not to see any cricket but at least we would finally get a 1 day trophy.

eh? The 20/20 world cup is classed by all nations as a more significant limited overs trophy than the ICC Champions Trophy (so much so that the Champions Trophy is soon to be defunct).

Aye how i see it :lol: champions trophy is like the Europa Leage... nice to win but it's the world cup everyone wants
 
We are going to struggle to get a game on judging by the weather forecast. :evil:

Rain all day. :-(
 
The toss is going to be massively important. If we win it, put them and knock over the top over while it's seaming about in the morning then we've got a great chance.
