That was an outbreak in the South Africa squad wasn’t it, covid was a bit more of an unknown then - guessing the South African variant might have been a topic. And most importantly it was in empty stadiums.

The BCCI can bog off with this offer to reschedule this test next year.

The fan’s travelling have been left out of pocket while the Indian players are thinking about their own selfish gains.

The only honourable thing to do is forfeit the match and series. Even then it would leave a very bitter taste in the mouth.
 
Poor management by the ECB allowed this shithousery to happen.

Whilst India should be rightly called out, it was the ECB who left this door ajar. Expecting India/BCCI to have any scruples is absolute madness.

Freezing my tits off at OT for 5 days or the UAE and a few hundred grand? See ya.
 
I know they won't give a fuck, but India come out of this very badly.

After the sterling efforts made by West Indies and Pakistan to tour here last summer, we get these greedy twats taking the piss.

Unfortunately the ECB are scared of the BCCI (and their all powerful IPL contracts) and didn't put some kind of watertight agreement in place prior to the tour ....... especially if Michael Vaughan is correct and India never wanted to play the 5th Test.

I'd give New Zealand a 5 test series and revert India down to 3 (or even 2)
