Having Buttler come straight back in shows what a mess they've got themselves in.
Making Ali unstoppable after the last test really is one in the eye for Leach.
Silverwood seems a nice bloke but selections are an absolute joke.
I've no issue with the request for flat pitches this year in prep for the Ashes but the attack we wanted is out and we should have changed our plans pitch wise

I wouldn’t play Buttler and I’m not that fussed on Pope either mind

he’s just Vice captain and obviously good in tjr dressing room

might just want him for this game

there’s a lot of criticism from people sat on the sofa, including me mind, but it’s a lot more complex than just looking at someone’s scores for the last 3 games

No reason not to play then. However it wouldn’t surprise me at all if the bastards just didn’t turn up at the ground tomorrow morning
