Heavily affected by rain, has just started, 5 hours behind schedule, 23 overs per side. The ECB want f***ing flogging for playing international cricket this late in the 'summer'.

On the basis that their economic model is based on playing a set number of games what option do they have? Glad it's on cos there's nowt else to watch.

have you seen the state of our batting lineup its shocking. tbf at least they had the common sense to remove trott from a 23over game

Where was Rahane for the test matches? He looks top drawer so far.

Because a good one-day player does not mean you're a good test player, as Raina has proven this summer.

He'll no doubt get his chance when Sachin et al retire though and looks like he could do well, but you can never really tell.

He averages 65 in first class cricket iirc.

Swann at 3 :-O

Ignore that, stupid f***ing ECB app had it down as Swann for the first 3 balls BELL faced

The difference between him and the likes of Raina and Mukhund is that he can actually play the short ball, and not to mention he's scored 6,500 runs in first class cricket at an average of 67.
