I know people will give Cook stick for that, but you've got to remember how close they're having to stand for the chances to even stick.

At that sort of distance it either sticks or it doesn't, the bloke is so close he didn't even have the chance to get his hands in the right place. Caught him towards the ends of his fingers, more unlucky than anything else.

Nowts going right for him, but that is the cricket equivalent of missing an open goal!
If Dhoni makes a score that is the chance of victory gone right there.

He should bat at 3 next test, 2 and 3 are effectively the opening partnership atm anyway :D

As bumble was saying yesterday with kohli's drop he was already up, should be staying low.

His drop percentage is nearly 40 so this is a regular occurence.

I've been saying since last year that he needs to go back to batting at 2, that's where all his best scores have come and that minor tweak to his thinking could make all the difference, when he's fielding he won't be thinking about facing that first ball, he can just get on with his job. Then when he's batting he just gets that bit more time to see what's happening. I know a world class opener should be able to bat at 1 or 2, but sometimes a small thing like this can make all the difference.
