Few thoughts on yesterday

Ground looked amazing - great choices on food and sensible beer queues

Pitch looked a road . Not sure ball beat bat more than 15-20 times all day

They played Root bizarrely. Not sure it was ever intention to bowl him ten through but fair play

We had an uncanny knack of getting a wicket each time they looked like cracking on

The idea that we could knock off a total of 310 with such ease would have been ridiculous in past. They were defiantly 50 below what they should have been but we’d have chased 360-400 i reckon

Too easy to wind up. Sit back, enjoy life and have a drink.

P.s Nice flag :D

That's the problem with you, most people who comment on the local cricket actually enjoy the debate and banter, you simply come on just for a wind up at your own admission,

That says everything about you sad as fuck.

Got to say mind mate had a great day, but while they may have been plenty of choices on food the quality was shocking, but then never expected anything else.

Wicket was fantastic like, can't hardly remember the ball batting the bat at all.

Great day out and as previously mentioned never felt there was any chance they wouldn't get to the target

Aussies seemed to bat a bit conservatively but I guess they needed to make sure they got a score on the board, they looked a bit shell shocked after Trent Bridge

Did you try everything?
Apart from the extortionate prices ( six quid for a bratwurst in a bun and two quid for a cup of tea) I thought the food was ok, I complain about the prices but had the choice not to pay if I didn't want to.

Good day out but as a cricket fan I am becoming more and more irritated by the unnecessary number of artificially created stoppages that occur at these one day games. I may be an old fart but do need a stoppage every over to change gloves, fart about and have a drink
I put it down to Sky to manufacture advertising breaks but to my mind it’s tedious and breaks the games rhythm up
And don’t start me off with the blaring bloody music every over change or run scored
Not sure it's sky mind, as bumble is outspoken about these delays

Any of you lot, dressed as the pope, bananas, butchers or various other clips?

No I did not try everything mate, and I did say I didn’t expect much, just replying to a poster to say what I did try was pants.

The pork bun was horrendous tastelesss and watery and horrible bun chips undercooked both fir just under a tenner

On the plus side my supper from Chester.le.strett high street was ver good

I offered you a port pie but you wouldn't have it!

I once went to see Durham play Leicestershire down Darlington

Melvyn betts was a mate of a mate I had, so it was freebies

It was scadding hot, got palatic, sunstroke, fell akip on the train back, I had a return to CLS, but woke up at Newcastle central station.

Saw Alex Rae, few chants of his name and to this day I have no idea of how I got back to cls. All I can remember is suddenly appearing in CLS high st, getting a taxi and falling spark out on the floor at home
