England to prioritise Red Ball


Haven't read the article but I'm guessing from the snippet in the link it's a case of multi format England players will miss more ODI's/T20s?

Prioritising red ball cricket to me means given red ball cricket at county level a better and more favourable schedule as well as more investment at youth/club level to bring through more and more red ball players.

Will lead to a competition. Four teams from the four biggest cities, 50 balls a side, played every Saturday throughout the summer. Bowlers called bowlspeople, batters can use a door for a bat, bowlsperson going off three paces. Sixes are called KFC Zinger Maximums and worth ten points if it goes over the stand.

And @Voice of fair play will say it's brilliant

Not gonna lie I love the sound of a KFC Zinger maximum, maybe we could get the colonel on the big screen signalling a six. Sign me up.
