Who cares about experience? We’ve always had experienced players and they haven’t performed. The only way you get experience is by playing.

If you’re not picked on how well you’ve been playing, what’s the point?

What I mean is just pick the best players

We have this obsession with playing kids

Italy before all their retirements, had teams of players well into there 30s, we wouldn't dare to that over here, we made that mistake at the last world cup IMO

best in form or "best" as those are two different things that have caught England out often, trying to play on paper who is supposedly best even though they then aren't in form and do badly.

In contrast Germany picked all their young players and gave the tournament experience early. A few years later they were the best team in the world.

Some of our best players have been young, and therefore they play, and have always played

Its a total myth about England, if anything we go too young

I know what you mean, but really that is an overblown view, very rarely does a player get picked just of because who he is

I mean you telling me Gerrard and Lampard and co shouldn't have been playing every week? They were some of the best players in Europe.

That deserve it and wont - Pope, Mee, Tarkowski or Lascelles. (im aware of the oncoming storm that last name will cause)

I frankly couldnt give a shining shite about the national team, however, if those that you feel deserve a spot get a spot i wouldnt be wasting money on betting on England doing anything in Russia, if they go.
