England Over 60s play Scotland twice in the area this week.

Thursday 12pm start at Marton.

But Friday there’s a bit more attention on the game as the former England goalkeeper Nigel Martyn is keeping wicket for England. This one 11am start at sunny Seaton Carew.

I think I’ll ’work from home’ Friday and have a watch of that.
 

They've played a couple of games at Hartlepool CC in the past.

Never seen them due to work commitments but I'm told they're quite entertaining games.
 
They had one at Seaton last year (I think) and I quite enjoyed what I seen. The standard was much better than I expected to be honest. Obviously they’re talented cricketers but you assume age catches up fast, but I seem to remember them looking well.
