Depends on the wicket but agree it's a general cause for concern. The elephant in the room being the shortage of specialist batsmen in the team, or knocking down the door for selection, for that matter.

Bell and Vince may be feeling miffed they didn't get on the plane looking at our fruitless attempts to find a number 3.

39/4 today. He has a point.

Our top order are usually little more than a speed bump for the opposition attack.
 
Nothing done to address this problem and so we shouldn't be surprised the Ashes will not be coming back anytime soon
