Eng vs India - First Test - 20th-24th June

Aye, let's hope so. I know Bashir didn't take a bag full of wickets 1st innings but I was impressed with his control. Noticeably much less 'hit me' balls than before.

Hopefully the wicket offers him some more assistance 2nd innings and he can run though the Indians like a bad curry.

??

She's canny imo. Knowledgeable, amiable and doesn't go on like a raging errm fanny like some male commentators. Most importantly for me, she has a nice relaxing voice.
Don’t agree. Boring. Offers nowt.
WTF you on about man!
Should be pretty easy to understand.

Do Sky employ Mel Jones to put the final nail into test cricket?
Must admit I reach for the mute button when I hear her loud gutteral tones. She doesn't enhance the quality of the broadcasting imo. Nonetheless the abhorrent "splitty" term is wholly unnecessary and unacceptable.

It is a perfectly clear viewpoint. Certain degree of irony in having to have to resort to expletives when requesting clarification.

“Splitty term?”

I’m not sure if it isn’t just time for cricket to accept that the humans are too much worse than the technology to be worth having in the loop at all. Like tennis has the top level with line judges. Just pass it over to the machines. Or at least, the bloke in the booth.
French open has amazingly gone back to line judges

Have you given thought to how much worse over rates would become if every suspected dismissal was referred to DRS.

On replay it was a good six inches away

There was a noise but must have been scraping

But then he gives it away to a combo catch
