Eng vs India - First Test - 20th-24th June

Mental how the cloud has come in and the floodlights are on just in time for our lot to have to face Bumrah.

Nice 470 on the board for the tourists too.

Reckon we’re cooked.

All week articles saying he was playing, something not quite right

Not bowled more than 10 overs I'm a day for about 4 years, not a chance

Yes I'm surprised he's not involved, even Luke Wright more or less said he'd play tomorrow. No mention of why he isn't in the Sussex squad announcement.

God we’re going to be batting under grey skies.

I honestly can’t believe we chose to field yesterday.
Because Headingley has stayed flat in recent years. England chase well and the record at Headingley supports batting second. If we had bowled them out for 400 they would have felt OK about that. The problem now is that our bowling attack isn’t really good enough to support bowing first on a flat pitch against good opposition.

We've done well today, fair play. However, these conditions have been forecast for days and choosing to face Bumrah at around this time is madness. Hopefully we can leave plenty, see him off and bat through to better conditions

If it's going to be dark and muggy it's best for us for it to rain. As long as when it stops its clear blue skies and hot
