Focusing on the toss lets the poor bowling off the hook. And can only ever be post hoc ergo propter hoc anyway. We can’t know it was wrong. We can know the bowling attack was shite.

Totally agree, there was more than enough swing out there yesterday to get wickets.
 
If we don’t get some bowlers back as Clubber Lang would say my prediction pain struggling to remember such a toothless attack as this.

You could make a case for 4 of this 5 man attack not being good enough. Woakes was but he seems to of lost the nip he head in the ashes off a couple of years ago.

Tongue will never be good enough I don’t think Carse is top class either. Much as I love Potts for Durham not sure he’s a top test level bowler either. Pinning their hopes on Wood & Archer being back for the ashes not great either.
