Eng vs India - First Test - 20th-24th June

Just a suggestion. If the ball is to be changed , could the third umpire , match referee before a days play have a selection all ready made of replacements instead of the time wasting of bringing out a case full and then deciding ?
Not if applying the letter of the law. The replacement ball has to be as similar as possible to the replaced ball at the instant of replacement.Pedantic maybe but fair.

All this Emphasis on Bumrah taking a wicket shows that mentally England are well on top of every other bowler

It’s a tell for me this little spell

All depends on the state of the ball irrc? You can have balls of similar age but can differ wildly depending how much tap it's had.

Invariably, you get a harder ball regardless.

Wow, some luck for us that over. Close LBW and a dropped c&b.

Wahey lads if you hadn’t asked for the ball to be changed twenty times since the start of play probably could’ve bowled another three overs never mind one more.
