Not sure where he fits into the team this season. Same with Robson. Power, Dobson, Scowen, leadbitter and even O’Nien when he plays in midfield are all probably ahead of them.

Embleton would be playing in the Gooch/Maguire role if I'm not mistaken. He's more of an advanced midfielder

What kind of Sun'land supporter looks at a 20 yr-old local kid who's been with us for years; played for England U18; scored a goal for them nominated for GoS by EUFA; done well on loan in a division below; played twice this season in games where we have won cup ties against Premiership teams, and then calls him shite? Then tells us what he thinks? Assures us he will never play above this dismal level in the rest of his career?
Some people on here need to gives their heads a shake. Probably the ones that thought Henderson was a waste of space; y'know the other local lad who is about to pick up the Prem Trophy, after last year's Champions League win and the year before leading out England at a World Cup semi-final. Who knows how far Embleton can go?

Feel for him and Robson. Always seem to pick up an injury at the wrong time. Ross said Robson would have started last season if he hadn't gotten injured in pre season.
