Sounds like he'll do well - the big adjustment for him will be reading the game for when the opposition kicks. There isn't the same amount of kicking in League but in union the 15 (and the 8 to a lesser extent) need to be roughly in the right part of the pitch so they're under the ball when the opposition launches one.

Hopefully. The thought process of when to kick, run or pass at centre was what did for Burgess imho. Why the England set up ever thought a hard tackling, running back row RL forward was the answer at outside centre is beyond me. Should have been 6, 7 or 8
