Eddie Howe

‘However, behind-the-scenes moves have been made by the Blues to approach Howe, who is a hero in after breaking a 70-year domestic trophy drought by securing the Carabao Cup last season.’

So much of a hero, that #HoweOut has been trending most weekends on Twitter this season. Would be superb for him to leave for the meltdown alone like.

Or they'll get beat today and be gone on Monday.
He'll not leave. The mags are super fickle but it works both ways. Bum a last minute 1-0 winner against a conference size and he's spoken about like he's a tactical genius God. He knows that. Will get far less time to deliver at Chelsea.

They don’t see Chelsea as the bigger club so their minds will be blown if he fancies going. How could he? Does he not have any ambition

I’d rather Howe stayed put. He’s a good manager but not elite level. With their money they should have no problem attracting a really top coach. Should Howe jump ship I could see them getting a better gaffer.
It will be interesting to see just how much ambition they show once they look for a new coach

A hero one game next game ‘he has to go’ 😂 entitled fickle fucks !!
He must know he’s in a basket case of a club. Chelsea however offer as many problems in terms of a team. Less of a circus than the Nashun but not an easy task. Might be his graveyard like Potter but he’ll earn big money

Aye, genuinely uninterested. But, the new CEO or whatever title they gave him says "I truly believe in my heart of hearts that nufc is PIFs favourite investment". Like something a complete dafty would say. PIFs very extensive website has countless regular updates on its investments, for the visitors there's nothing except the press release from the day of the takeover.
They haven’t a clue how to run that club and really haven’t appointed a business team capable of figuring out a winning strategy. I hear a lot about what their fans want and it’s ready to go players regardless of age and cost. Those days are now gone. It’s hard to do that in this league as they cost too much and it’s fucks you up financially. They look in a mess big time in the long term to me.

Personally I think Howe, Tindall & co are a motley bunch of shameless chancers.

If they get beat they do a collective crawl under a rock but if they win it's a full squad and backroom photo opportunity as if they've just won the PL*

*I mean even Mags have a memory span longer than 7 to days!

Need to factor in wor Eddie's nephew anarl. Can't have the lad without a job and he's doing a stirling job I think we'd all agree.

Wonder if Chelsea will allow him to bring along his cheerleader and professional photographer Jason Tindall

Would be a shame if he left because I could see them getting someone better.

However what sort of manager would go to Newcastle? There is no clear plan for them and nobody above their manager that can be relied on to bring in the right players. They don’t seem to have grasped that in this league you should be buying younger players for the future to circumnavigate PFP. The owners clearly aren’t bothered about a long term strategy and are stringing the fans along about getting a new ground or turning theirs into some amazing home when neither are actually possible.

They would if they cared. They haven’t changed a thing since they came. Ground, training ground etc are still the same.
Like shite have they done nowt, does washing the windows not count? Then there's the new cryogenic systems ( wheelie bins with ice in )for Bruneeerr and Ringo. Brainwashing a whole nashun doesn't come cheap either.

Pains me to say it but he is a quality manager. His shortcomings have been demanding too much of a say over transfers which he won’t get at Chelsea. He’s would walk into an amazing squad (which the mags don’t have) where he could pick and choose who he wanted in his 25.

Is he “Elite”? Probably not, but for a couple of years he would develop their younger players, consistently get them into the champions league, and maybe win a cup or two.

I find it genuinely hilarious that the mags think he is the limiting factor rather than their basket case ownership’s running of the club!
