Most illnesses seem to be. I got glandular fever in my 30's and it completely fucked me up for about six months, with weird neurological stuff and well as being permanently fluey. Collapsing with a tachycardia when it went for my vagus nerve was a particular highlight.

I’m not defending Saudi but there’s many other countries who are as bad, if not worse but they often get our support.

I can remember when the plant opened, some people said they would never buy a Japanese car because of the atrocities in ww2 that Japan carried out. There were people alive 40 yrs or so ago who very much lived and remembered that, not so much now.

You are defending saudi with whataboutery. Why are you mentioning the nazis? You do know we went to war with them ,don't you? We definitely drew a line with them. Just because you have no morals,doesnt mean everybody lives like this

That’s where you’re wrong about morals. I asked the question if anyone else would work for the Saudis. I bet there’s people reading this that do and my point which you seem to have missed through your blinkers is that some people will carry on working for countries and firms with a past and a present. I drink Nescafé coffee even though thousands of kids starved because of their baby milk scandal. Our kid won’t even eat a kitkat

If we start to draw moral lines in the sand then we are going to get in a little bit of bother. We will not be able to wear trainers or T shirts. We won’t be able to eat beef or use anything made of plastic.

Personally I don’t care who owns the mags, not really. I’m jealous of them winning something and I would love us to be challenging for European honours.

I’m a little bit tired of scratting round the lower divisions, sacking managers every few months and selling our best players.

I’d like us to be owned by a supremely wealthy concern who will turn us into a European powerhouse winning everything.

People and countries change. Japan is no longer conducting death marches, is a democratic country and people growing up and buying cars today don't associate modern Japan with atrocities. They associate it with Pokemon, Nintendo, high tech cities, bullet trains and sushi.

What Saudi is trying to do, is not actually change, but to distract and deflect away from their continuing atrocities. If people are enjoying Golf in Saudi, watching Boxing in Saudi, and holidaying in Saudi, they might be prepared to turn a blind eye to the atrocities. Or in the case of some mags, actually defend them from criticism.

You mentioned the nazis and said where do we draw the line. We literally went to war with them. Is that drawing the line? I don't want a murderous ,misogynistic, homophobic tyrant,owning my football club. And if they did,I would walk away. Is that simple enough for you?
