Eckersley finished?

Apart from Mcintosh who else have we got now as a specialist keeper? There's Haydon Mustard but apart from batters who do a bit of keeping like Bedingham I can't think of anyone else.

Just to expand on this Eckersley issue. From memory Ned kept wicket in the CC, then when the T20 started the club issued a statement that said Ned would not be keeping wicket in the T20 as he had a broken finger. However he then played in the competition as a batsmen and, obviously, fielded. Presumably this would be very difficult with a broken finger? However I did notice that he had strapping on one of his fingers but then again so did Jack Burnham, on his thumb, following his enforced suspension for "other" issues. Not that I am saying the two are linked as I somehow suspect Ned and JB are totally different characters.

However it's yet another instance of where the Club thing by ignoring events somehow or other everything will be glossed over. Instead it's completely the opposite and leads to widespread rumours and undermining of individuals.

For the record I thought Ned did a good job during the time he was with us. A competent keeper and weighed in with some critical runs at times. At the time he was a good signing in my opinion.

Most definitely served Durham well. I did find it very odd how he was an outfielder in the T20 yet the club said he had a knackered finger when we signed Robinson. Wish him well for the future but surely it's not difficult for the club just to release a statement?

Aye. No idea broken finger but could still play? Beyond me.

That'll be the Jack Campbell who has 7 wkts at 13 at an ER < 4 in this season's RL50. The worry is how many more will follow these two out the door at the end of the season.
9 wickets now.

Boils my f***ing piss. They've obviously left for personal reasons so just say "[insert player name] has left for personal reasons". There is clearly something wrong behind the scenes at this club.

Agree on both counts. Leaves us incredibly short, we're very lucky Mackintosh has hit the ground running, especially given he came into the side off the back of poor form in the seconds
