In my night club going days, someone had to suggest it.
a) Atkinson asks Stokes whether he fancies it and Stokes thinks, yes great idea Gus.
b) Stokes thinks..... would it be appropriate to ask a relatively junior member of the side whether he fancies a night on the tiles after all that happened in Australia? Yes, that would be fine.
Brainless either way.
Or were more involved?

Mind if that curfew extends to immediately after the end of a match without another game for 10 days it would be ott.

Tin hat on a bit, but I've no problem with them going for a few drinks after the test has ended. What is concerning is how this is classed as an "incident", as that clearly means something has happened beyond a few drinks.

But coming off the back of a disastrous winter and many scandals involving the drink, you'd think maybe you'll just chill and lie low for a while.

Yeah I don't disagree, you'd do your best to keep a low profile and maybe avoid London nightclubs in the early hours
.I don't think any of us would begrudge them a few beers after the test has ended, but this sounds to me like something has kicked off and even if they aren't to blame, being out at that time doesn't give good signals after the winter.
