Early leavers and final whistle on Sunday

Yet again I left after clapping the players off and yet again I couldn’t give a flying fuck who left when and why. To have someone sat in fuckin Surrey slagging match going fans off is as low a thread as you can imagine really.

It's amazing how many people think the difference between a good night sleep and a bad one is 5-10 minutes extra to congratulate a 3-0 win.
It’s amazing how many people are arsed. Let people live man 😂
Do you think Nordi is walking off the pitch thinking that BobtheFly off the smb is a top clapper?

I think he walks off the pitch thinking they couldn't wait to get away. They couldn't stay 5 minutes more to show a bit of appreciation.

However, if people don't want to show that support that's their choice. Making excuses like 5am starts and taking the bairns home are just excuses. That's what I'm getting at. At least be honest and say at 3-0 your attention span has gone and you can't be arsed to hang around.

I left 3 minutes early and ran back to the car. I’m normally one of the last few in the ground, but I had to leave home at 0530 this morning for a 7 hour drive. Leaving 3 minutes early got me home 45 minutes earlier than normal.

It would’ve been easy to stay at home and watch it on the tele. I hope it’s okay with you.

I stay til end all the time but it really doesn’t bother me.
People travel from miles around to be there, what they choose to do is up them

Almost as if 50,000 people have 50,000 different circumstances

Sunderland is a notoriously tough place to get away from, especially on a Monday night when more people have drive than there usually would be.

There’s essentially only 3 routes away from the stadium/city. West on the 1231, south over the town bridge, or up Newcastle road.

All 3 have bottle necks at some point and it can take absolutely ages.

Definitely think this issue needs addressing with RAWA / club again. Even it’s to pt more pressure on local authorities providing better transport links / extra services on match days.

We all want what’s best for the club, no doubt as many people as possible left at FT to appreciate the players will help with the positive momentum the club have been building.

I'm not doubting the people who travel hours to attend. They do more than I have to do. The stadium begins to empty every week, way more than you could say they're all driving hours away. I know people who leave to be first at the bar. Many people. I'm one person who knows these people. I'm sure many people know those who do. Anyone who thinks it doesn't look bad is blind.

How many people go to concerts and leave before the final couple of songs because they're up early in the morning? I'm guessing not many.

There’s not that many stadium concerts on a Monday night mind.

Over 46,000 for a Monday night in February against Burnley, with minimal away support is a good crowd even if some left early for whatever reason.

School night, people having to travel late at night, some feeling the cold. Who cares really.

Big crowd and 3 points in the bag.
