I have a confession to make
I fluked it. I left one job and started new one a few weeks later
Somehow UC gave me something like £38 which was in the qualifying period
Have no idea how long a UC account stays active like that as it's been a right long time now
Could almost feel like a bit of a fraud (a lie)

Been a bit haphazard this last 2-3 years. Did some temping with gaps in between with smaller amounts of UC kicking in
Just been looking, it says UC account stays open for 6 months after you stop claiming
Permanent job now so I'll take that thanks DWP as compensation for how pitiful UC can be

Whey, tbh am a little bit behind on some bits after a mixed bag this year, so it will mainly go to it's intended use, plus something to add to my Christmas kitty
Tax credits-only customers who do not qualify for a payment from DWP will receive £300 from HMRC between 10 and 19 November 2023

I got mine. It will help pay the mortgage as it's gone right up.
The last cost of living payment is from the 6th February to 22th February
