Turns out he's not even contracted to play in the 50 over stuff, not sure why they waited until the eve of the competition to release that.

Neil Wagner suffered injury against Somerset in the County Championship and has returned home to New Zealand ruling him out of his stint with Durham, while David Bedingham is not contracted to feature for Durham in the Metro Bank One Day Cup

Bas de Leede and Daniel Hogg aren’t available for selection due to injury and will be monitored by Durham’s Science and Medicine department

I very much doubt that's changing with the talent they've got in their top 6.

Unless someone's absent and he's in a reserve batsman.

It's an odd one, he played in the 2023 version (missed last year with injury iirc). He hasn't extended his contract with Durham since 2021 so god knows when they decided he wasn't contracted to play the 50 over stuff. I'm guessing it's likely come from SA as he is centrally contracted for the red ball stuff with them.

They've got a bunch of white ball matches this month and he's not in the squad.

Doubt they will rotate that much to tour England guess we shall see.

See above they've got 3 ODI's in Australia this month.

He's not made that squad so weird he'd suddenly be needed in England.

The only way Bedingham gets into their ODI side for England is if they are resting a few and sending their reserves, especially as he hasn't made their white ball squad before.

This might explain his current inability to concentrate for more than about five minutes on proper cricket shots. For Durham's sake, I hope he is a flop.
