Some decent batting performances from Bates, Armitage and Heath. However, we conceded 30 wides. The game would have been a lot closer without them. I fully appreciate that in white ball cricket, anything down the leg side seems to be called a wide these days, but by comparison, Lancs only gave away 3 wides.

All part of the learning process I suppose.

Seems like the side very much begins and ends with Suzie Bates who is world class.

Not heard of the rest apart from Filer.

Anyone more up to date with womens cricket want to inform me of any ones to keep an eye on?

I intended going down for the women’s game tomorrow that’s on before the men’s T20, so I thought I would watch this game to familiarise myself with the players, think my plans have changed.
