Durham Women

Suprised they didn't play on the same strip as the last two Championship matches there.
It may take spin on the 27th day.
would have been quite easy to ship the lasses out to south north or Ropery Lane, quite pleased theyve put all of the womens games at the riverside
Oh aye , there would have been all sorts of 'you're treating us a a second class team' jibes. Even though the men routinely play a 50 over game at South/North.

Just seen score, 31 needed by Hampshire off 18 overs with 7 wickets in hand, looks like a 4th defeat in a row, not going too well unfortunately early doors !!

Durham 190/8 - 50 overs

Hampshire 193/3 - 36.5 overs

Emily Arlott, just out caught on the boundary, believes she may be a distant relative of John Arlott

Quick google-
'It's never been confirmed but I'm pretty sure there's a connection as a lot of my family are from Hampshire,' said Arlott, 23.
